You can spend the day in one of the local parks, or enjoy some shopping and dining near your home. Sorauren Park is in the heart of the neighbourhood and has a dog park and year-round events. It has a popular Farmer’s Market where people can buy fresh produce, and have another excuse to visit the park! Residents in the Roncesvalles are located close to every convenience, including two subway stations. Keele subway station and Dundas West subway station are located in walking distance. There are also streetcars that run along Dundas Street West, Queen Street West, and Roncesvalles Avenue. Drivers can get to the Gardiner Expressway and Lakeshore Boulevard in about ten minutes. What NOT to Expect: The only thing missing from Roncesvalles is lake access. On hot days, hop on the streetcar and head south to the water. A Day in the Life: Your Roncesvalles loft condo is located near Sorauren Park on a leafy street. Stroll through it on your way to the bagel shop. Chat with your neighbours over coffee, then walk to Queen West to shop at all the quirkiest stores. Join your boyfriend at High Park for a bike ride by Grenadier Pond. Then, grab lunch on Dundas Street West on the patio, where you people-watch and sip a cool drink. After lunch, watch an independent film at the cozy local theatre. End the evening at the bar near your loft before heading home. On your way you notice an impromptu drum session in the park, and stop to join the fun!

Depending on what time of year it is, you can watch Shakespeare in the Park, watch a movie outside, or join the Pumpkin Parade. There are many community events that make Roncesvalles feel like a welcoming small town community. Unlike small towns, you are also located near businesses and transit.
